This grade B Listed house comprises an original 18th century Lairds House, with two later wings added to the west and east. A more recent wing to the north side enclosed a courtyard, off which was the original entrance to the main house.
This north wing has been demolished to restore the original principal entrance, and each wing to the west and east has been refurbished and extended. The west wing provides self contained accommodation with three bedrooms and an open plan kitchen / dining / living space, and view to the west from a new sun room. The east wing comprises a kitchen / dining space and off this a new utility and sitting room with raised external terrace giving views to the south and west.
The exterior of the main house was refurbished with new windows, lime harling and correctly detailed sandstone skews and chimney heads.
